This book made me realize how much of our bodies we give away freely when fear grips us in the middle of a scary diagnosis. We would not do the same with our car and let a mechanic remove parts of it without any good reason yet we are rushing to surgeons to remove parts of us with the promise of keeping our life. This book made me realize how nutrition is the thing we are taught the least about in schools and how supermarkets thrive because shelves are stacked with bad options when it comes to healthy eating. No wonder the pharma industry is thriving!

Evita Ramparte healed from ovarian cancer in four months without any medical treatment. She used nutrition and emotional work to release trauma. She realized that cancer was a bliss: it jolted her out of a toxic marriage and made her question her own choices. “The bliss of cancer” written by Evita Ramparte is a testimony of the human power and resilience when faced with a dreadful diagnosis.

The book is very simply written and you can go through it in a day. You can find exercises for all of the seven chakras. One of the best questions you can ask yourself if you are going through cancer is suggested by Evita: what are you trying to get out of by creating cancer? This might raise a couple of brows and it surely made me ponder.

I wish I would have been able to read more about her life after healing. Against all odds she became pregnant. This woman’s story is uplifting and empowering. It shows that the biggest enemy is fear and that some doctors weaponize the diagnosis in order to instill this feeling in patients, making them obedient and ready to do everything they are told.

Proper nutrition might not 100% save lives but it surely can improve your odds if you are battling with an illness: no fat, no animal fat or plant based fat, no seeds, no nuts, no avocados, no eggs, no oils, no dairy, no sugar, no meat, no bread, no white rice, no refined wheat.Just fruits and veggies and water. Emotional work and trauma release can help you declutter your soul and make room for the new. Bitterness and judgement make room for forgiveness. Evita shows us that the best path to healing is to be grateful for everything and everyone and that a lifestyle closer to nature is what brings ultimate joy and health.
