I have often seen these advertised on Youtube as being amongst the best option for watercolours when it comes to a balanced quality between the price you pay and what you get.
I have ordered this 24 colour set from Saint Petersburg brand, the White Nights, the Neva palette, a brand produced in Russia and I was very curious to see if they are any good.

They have no particular smell and I like that the box comes with a palette for combining the colours. The little paper inside with the purpose of displaying the colours is useful.

I have done a long video starting with unboxing to the point of testing each colour individually.

I have one favourite from this palette and it is the Green. I would dare to call it forest green because it is a rich, deep and dark foresty green.
There is good pigment in the colours so a little goes a long way. I could see a great use of the browns in this palette for botanical illustrations.

I have paid under 50 Euros for the entire palette so it is very affordable for anyone who wants to play with watercolours.
